I have a question. I'm solving an equation but i'm not sure if i'm doing correct ...

c^2 = 2^2 + 6^2 - 2*2*6*Cos(180-x)
c^2 = 40 + 24 Cos(x)

Is it right if i'm simplify like that??

Also, when texting algebra, 'tis better to use an asterisk as a multiplication sign. (The letter x is already in use here; it represents an angle measure.)

2*2*6*cos(180 - x) :cool:
