8th grade advanced algebra problem.

I dont even know how to get started with this problem. It is giving me alot of trouble.

(distance 1st car travels) + (distance 2nd car travels) = 330

also ... (rate of speed)(time traveled at that speed) = distance

both cars travel for the same amount of time in hours ... call it "t". now use the information given above to set up an equation and solve for "t".

Sometimes a sketch will help.

.............60mph.......................50mph
|------------------------------|----------------------|
|<------------------330 mi ---------------------->|

d=rt

d1=60t
d2=50t
d1+d2=330
Can you finish?

In its simplest terms:
if you're travelling @ 110 mph, how long does it take you to travel 330 miles?
