Hi all!!! I am dropping down to regulars math (still geometry) and I was wondering if the regulars is as easy as people say... they say something like the following...

1) OHHHHHH! It's SOOOO easy!!!

2) I get 100%'s on the quiz's/test's!

3) (note: this is one I heard today!!!) I had a 52% in PRE-AP, and now I have a high B low A.

Please tell me!!! FEEDBACK IS GREAT!!!

That depends on what you think is easy.

If you want to learn nothing, you should be able to find an "easy" class.
If you want to learn, and maybe stretch your education a bit, are you sure "easy" is the right choice?

Euclid (a famous mathematician for whom the geometry you're probably studying was named "Euclidian Geometry") was employed by a king to teach that king geometry. The king, like many students, thought geometry was "too hard" and, like many students, was convinced that the teacher, if he/she wanted to, could make it easier (ESPECIALLY for a king!!)

And so the king expressed this viewpoint to Euclid...saying, in effect, "Show me an EASIER way to do this stuff. After all, I am a KING!" And Euclid is reported to have told King Ptolemy, "There is no royal road to geometry."

So...if you want/need to learn geometry, you need to be prepared to work hard. If ALL you are interested in is an easy A, oh well.....there is no royal (easy) way to learn geometry.

That's just my humble opinion. It is your choice, after all.
