I have to write equations in standard form of lines satisfying the following conditions.

Through (.5, .2), vertical

Could someone please show me the steps to solve this problem. Thanks.

If a line is vertical, the x coordinate is constant, or never changes.

So if \(\displaystyle (x\,,\,y)\,\Rightarrow\,(.5\,,\,.2\)\) then the equation is \(\displaystyle x\,=\,.5\)
