Finding the Supplementary Angles of 9z degrees and 7z degrees

So im stumped by this question.
"Find the measures of the supplementary Angles".

Is this the right way to go about it? A1 = Angle 1. To find A1, 9z + 7z = 180. 180/16 = 11.25. 90 -11.25 = 78.75 which would be A1. Then subtract 78.75 from 180 to get A2, which would be 101.25 ??

LOL, thats what my instructors say. I really gotta quit doing that =/
