Question please. I have a rectangle that has a base of 2000 inches. The top portion of the rectangle has figures of 0.65 in. and 0.375 in. I need to find the dimension of "A", which is the remainder of the upper portion of the rectangle. I am sorry I cannot draw rectangle. What I came up with is : 2000-0.65= -0.45. -.0.45-0.375= -0.825. Is this correct for the dimension of "A"? Somehow it does not look correct. Please advise. Thank you.

We cannot GUESS. Please get someone to show you how to post diagram.

See if I can draw it.
_0.65 in____________ ___________a_________
l 0.375 in l

______________________2000 in____________________

Is that somewhat better of an idea? PLease advise. Thank you.

Well, for what it's worth:
2000 - .65 = 1999.35 ; 1999.35 - .375 = 1998.975

Joanna, may I be blunt and ask: where do you get your utterly silly problems?

They seem silly becuase they are hard to draw and without seeing them, I am sorry that that is then way they come across when all I can do is describe them. Thank you for your help and patience. Have a great day!
