I have a test on Wednesday and I am doing the review. There is a question that says "Find the value of the variable(s)." There is a chart that looks like an X, and it has 3 equations on 3 out of the 4 angles. Does anyone kinda know what I am talking about? Can anyone help me???

Find the value of the variable(s)." There is a chart that looks like an X, and it has 3 equations on 3 out of the 4 angles.

1) When two lines cross, they form four angles. The angles that are across from, or opposite each other are called vertical angles. Vertical angles are equal.

2) When two angles are next to each other along a line, they are called a linear pair. Linear pairs are also supplementary angles, meaning their measures add up to 180 degrees.

The equations you refer to are not equations; they are algebraic expressions representing the measures of the angles. Using the information I gave you in 1) and 2), you can create some equations using the supplied expressions.

Hope that helps.

Thank you!!!
