graphing a tagent

here is the problem i was working on

3tan(5x-pi)

i am totally lost, i looked on google and youtube and the tutorials on my mathxl program that this came from and still cant figure it out

every tutorial i see says to draw the graph of tan x and then use the equation to move the points on the graph one by one, but that isnt how we did it in class

anyone got a link that explains how to graph tan with an example problem like this or something?

you just have to be careful with tangent since it's asymptotic to the undefined boundaries
