I suggest you start by making a sketch of the room and label it with the given dimensions. Next you'll want to convert your mixed dimensions into either inches or feet. for example, 20 ft 5 in. is (20)(12) + 5 = 245 in. Do that with all three measurements.

The room has six surfaces: floor, ceiling, and four walls. Calculate the surface area of each one, then add them together. One thing that makes this a little simpler is that the floor and ceiling have the same surface area. So so the front and back walls. So so the two side walls.

Here is an example: suppose a room is 200" L, 150" W, and 100" high.

The front and back walls are each 150" x 100" = 15000 sq. in. (30,000 sq. in. for both).
The side walls are each 200" x 100" = 20000 sq. in. (40,000 sq. in. for both).
The floor and ceiling are each 200" x 150" = 30000 sq. in. (60,000 sq. in. for both).

Add up 30,000 + 40,000 + 60,000 = 130,000 sq. in. Total.

If you want to convert that to square feet:

(130,000 sq. in.)( 1 sq. ft./144 sq. in.) = 902.78 sq. ft. (approx.)
