Hi, I can't really figure out how to prove this equality. :confused:

Did you include the whole problem for the 1st image. If you let f(t)=1, then you'll see that this is not an identity.

Ah, they are not two separate problems!

So what substitution can you make so that the limits 1 to x becomes 1/x to 1 (or the other way around) or even 1 to x to become 1 to 1/x?
