I 58 years old I have return to school. This summer I am in Math 105 and we are currently in probability and I am really struggling with a question. I really just need step by step instruction that I am not getting in my online course. If someone could help me understand this problem. I am fine with the rest. The question is "What is the probability of getting the sum of 8 or at least 6 on a pair of dice"? I do not know what it is not computing but I have been working on this one problem for close to an hour.

There are thirty-six pairs. Count the number that add to six or more. Divide that by 36.
