Unknown008 Junior Member Joined Sep 6, 2011 Messages 148 Feb 22, 2012 #4 I would suggest you make a sketch of the graphs of: \(\displaystyle y = e^{|x|}\) And \(\displaystyle y = \cos(2x)\) Then use it as reference to determine which one of \(\displaystyle y=e^{-x}\) or \(\displaystyle y=e^{x}\) to get the answers.
