Oh! You want us to do your homework for you?
But it is your homework not mine.
I am here to help, not to do it for you.
What have you done on it?
Show us.

So you missed the classes that covered this material...?

How far back are you needing to go?

Do you have any understanding of radicals? (For instance, are you able to specify whether the radicals under consideration here are square roots or some other root?)

Have you done any simplification of radical expressions at all? (For instance, are you able to simplify "radical 20"?)

Are you familiar at all with rationalizing denominators, or is that a new term for you?

We'll be glad to provide you links to lessons, so you can get caught up on the material you missed, but you'll need to specify the topics needed.

Thank you.

Eliz.

simplify radicals

i understand how to simplify radical expressions like radical 20, but i don't understand how to rationalize denominators. i'm new to that and it really confuses me.

THANKS!!

no, i dont want you to do my homework for me, because that wouldn't help me understand it. i just wanted to know the steps to figuring it out, and i don't have any steps because i have no idea on how to do it. that's why i signed up for this, because i don't know how to do this and i thought someone could help me.

Since we cannot reasonably replicate the missing classroom instruction, please review some of the lessons available online:

. . . . .Google results for "rationalizing denominator radical"

Once you have learned the basic terms and techniques, please attempt the exercise. If you get stuck, or are unsure of your steps or solution, please reply showing all of your work and reasoning.

Thank you.

Eliz.
