write equation from trig funtion graph

I've been working on this for 3 days now and I don't know why I can't figure out the period. It's not due for a while but any help with writing this equation would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

What is the definition of a period? What does this look like, on a graph? What points on the given graph could be used for this?
