"Prove: Any two corresponding altitudes of similar triangles have the same ration as the corresponding sides"

Can someone just help me to clarify how to draw the triangles; I’m not really good with drawings of proof, thanks

um, sorry i'm new to this...
i thought this was in the geometry section...

Draw two triangles, ABC and DEF which are similar:

triangle ABC is similar to triangle DEF

Sketch the two triangles.

Ok...draw an altitude in triangle ABC from B to AC....I sure hope you know what an altitude is!

Draw an altitude from E to DF in triangle DEF.

You should be able to show (with a bit of work, probably) that the triangles formed by the altitudes drawn in ABC and DEF are similar.

Does that help?
