Adding and Subtracting Polynomials

simply each expression by finding the sum or difference.

1.(3r^2- 4rs+s^2)- (2r^2+rs-3s^2

2.(-3x^4-x^3+6x^2)- (-3x^3-x^2+6x)

i am have problems with this because my teacher us how to do but a book that show slimar kind of probelms of they are solving it differently and it's confusing.

I will do it as you did in 6th grade

4r^2 - 4 rs + s^2
2r^2 + rs -3s^2
----------------------
2r^2 -5rs +4s^2 answer



-3x^4 - x^3 +6x^2 +0x + 0
0x^4 -3x^3 - x^2 +6x +0
------------------------------------
-3x^4 +2x^3+7x^2 -6x answer
