Algebra book for electronics engineering

Hello, I want to join the college in my city qcc and I need to study befor the next semester starts. I was hoping one of you could help me with the books I should study up on before I join the college. I was told I needed some algebra and some trig skills for the course.

I for one need more background information on you. I have no idea what city qcc could possibly mean.
Please tell us more about what background you have in mathematics.
 
I have a high school knowledge of math but I only went as far as algebra.

You consult the web-pages of your college and determine the pre-requisites of
the classes you are going to enter into.

Those pre-req vary, from college to college.I

Are you planning to persue engineering (lots of advanced math) or "technician" ( not so much math) path?
 
I plan on going for an engineering class in the future so yea the course says that its an engineering class though.
I guess its engineering then buddy.
 
Here a truly excellent textbook If I were you I would try to buy a used edition.
Anyone knowing the content of that textbook is well prepared for a course in engineering.

Have you already graduated from high school?
If yes, are you saying you graduated from high school without going through Trigonometry?
 
Plane Trigonometry. I have the seventh edition. New editions may be available.
