I would probably look at it as a large rectangle, minus a small rectangle and a triangle, plus a semicircle. There are other ways.

Thats what I got and I feel very unsecure about it because I dont do such exercices on a daily basis..

Starting from the bottom, draw a line along the top of the semi circle, a horizontal line at the top of the section labeled "1.50 m", a horizontal line at the top of the section labeled "2.00 m" and a vertical line from the right side of the section labeled "3.00 m" to the second of the horizontal lines you just drew.

You now have:
A semi-circle of radius 1.00 m.
A rectangle with sides of lengths 1.50 m and 4.00 m.
A rectangle with sides of lengths 2.00 m and 4.00- 0.50= 3.50 m.
A rectangle with sides of lengths 2.00 m and 3.00 m.
A trapezoid with height 1.00 m and base lengths 2.00 m and 4.5- (2+ 1.5)= 4.5- 3.5= 1.00 m.

Calculate the area of each of those and add the areas.
