I need to find the exact values of sin a, cos a, tan a, csc a, sec a, and cot a.
The points I am given are the problem because they include a radical. ((-4√(3)),4). I have done these problems before and have not had too much difficulty, especially after I get sin a and cos a but I literally have no idea where to start with this because of the radical. I am sorry I cannot show any work at this point. I have not seen a problem like this before. I emailed my teacher but haven't hear back yet.
Do I start by solving the radical?
This is what I think I figured out. If I solve it like I would the other problems we've been doing, I divide the 4 by the radical so I would get 4/-4√(3). Then, I find tan a of the answer? That would be -√(3). So I would figure out tan √(3)?
Thanks!
