Bearing Trig Problem - Help?

Hi guys,

I'm having some trouble with the 2nd part (part b) of this question:



I managed to get the answer to part a as 28.59m - hopefully this is correct!?

Part b I'm not really sure where to start. Could someone give me a hint or a link to a similar problem as I am having trouble finding a similar example in my textbook?

Ok, so I haven't had any replies... I'm starting to think my question image hasn't showed up...

I got this far on question b)


But I'm now stuck I did the working out (with the Law of Sines) and got the ?? angle to equal 6.71 degrees which I think is really wrong. Could anyone please help me?

I saw your post on stack exchange. Was their help not sufficient?

I do not know what "channel markers" are, but the distance between the marked points is what you have.

How did you get that angle for "(??)"? It is not what I got, and I cannot see what went wrong without some work
