Hi, everyone. I'm trying to solve for the volume using integration however i encounter a problem with z plane and I don't know what to do with it. Can anyone please help.
1. Find the volume in the first octant inside the cylinder y^2+z^2=a^2 and outside the cylinder y^2=ax.
2. Find the volume of a wedge cut from a circular cone by two planes through the axis.

I don't where to start with these kind of problem and I'm stuck. Thank you in advance.

First draw sketch of the bounding and try to locate the lines/planes of intersections. That will give you the limits of triple integration.

Please tell us what did you find as the boundaries of integration.

Please show us what you have tried and exactly where you are stuck.
