if m<p = 13degrees, m<q = 77degrees, and <q and <r are complementary, what can you conclude about <p and <r? explain your reasoning.
 
well i said <r would be 13degrees, because if <p is 13degrees and <q is 77degrees, which makes 90degrees, and that its complementary to <p, because complementary angles are angles that sum up to 90degrees.

Your explanation part is good. (It reminds me of the Transitive Property of Equality.) Yet, this exercise also asks for a conclusion involving angles p and r.

For that part, I would say: m<p = m<r 8-)
