Coordinates !!!!!!!! HELP

How can you tell by examining two points whether they lie on a horizontal line? On a vertical line?

I don't know what you're saying about the points, thats where my confusion began

I said a horizontal line is parallel to the x axis therefore the two points must have the same y coordinate in order to lie on a horizontal line. A vertical line is parallel to the y axis therefore two points must have the same x coordinate to lie on a vertical line.
