Did i do this right its factoring by grouping?

its say here to factor and this is the problem
x^3 +3x^2+2x+6
(x^3+3x^2)+(2x+6)=x^2(x+3)+2(x+3)
x^2(x+3)+2(x+3)=(x^2+2)(x+3)
x^3+3x^2+2x+6=(x^2)(x+3)
