Dividing a quadrilateral: Can every quadrilateral be divided to 2 triangles?

You never mentioned that your quadrilateral had two pair of sides of equal length!!
That really does matter - I think.

A quadrilateral, on an Euclidean plane, can be divided into at least one pair of triangles
I really don't see how that matters at all!
Surely any quadrilateral, including those that have no side the same length as any of the other sides can still be divided into at least two triangles (though not necessarily a "
pair")?

Can either of you show me a quadrilateral that cannot be divided into two triangles with a single line between two of its vertices?

I missed a very important NOT. ???

My response should have stated:

That really does NOT matter - I think.

It's not about matters vs not matters. It's about shahar posting the entire problem!
