The relation between electric field and potential is given by:

\(\displaystyle E = \frac{V}{r}\)

Solving for the distance gives:

\(\displaystyle r = \frac{V}{E} = \frac{45}{1500} = 0.03 \ \text{m} = \textcolor{blue}{3 \ \text{cm}}\)
