I can't seem to solve this problem.
The measure of the supplement of an angle is 60 less than 3 times the measure of the compliment of the angle. Find the angle

You're asked for the measure of "an angle", so pick a variable to represent this unknown measurement, and write it down.

x = the measure of an angle

The phrase "the supplement of an angle" is expressed as 180 - x.

(Do you understand why?)

The phrase "the compliment of the angle" is expressed as 90 - x.

(Do you understand why?)

The phrase "3 times the measure of the compliment" is expressed as 3(90 - x).

The phrase "60 less than" means that 60 is being subtracted from 3 times the compliment.

3(90 - x) - 60

And, the verb "is" means that the above expression equals the supplement.

180 - x = 3(90 - x) - 60

This is an equation. Can you solve it for x?

If so, then you've got your answer.
