If Angie goes to the movies, Cecilia and Miguel will go. If Cecilia or Miguel go to the movies, Angel will go. If Angel goes to the movies, then Daisy will go. If only five people went to the movies who were they?

I need help?? Anyone care to explain?

How many names are there in your problem?

Please show us your work, indicating exactly where you are stuck - so that we may know where to begin to help you.

WHY did you post this in GEOMETRY?

In most high school geometry texts, deductive reasoning and logic are integral parts of the scope and sequence.

But, in any case, I count 5 people total and they all had popcorn and malted milk balls with a 32 oz. coke. Deadly mixture.

Hello, ilovemychango17!

Something is definitely wrong here.
Please check the wording of the problem.

If Angie goes to the movies, then Cecilia and Miguel will go.

If Cecilia or Miguel go to the movies, then Angel will go.

If Angel goes to the movies, then Daisy will go.

If only five people went to the movies, who were they?

As masters pointed out, there are exactly five people.

So they all went to see "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".
