Hello, I have a problem that I can't seem to figure out and some help would be much appreciated! The question reads as follows:
"A bird is capable of flying 20m/s and knows that her nest is directly north of her current position. Determine the angle at which she must fly to return home if there is a15m/s wind blowing at 40degrees North of East."
The correct answer is that the bird must leave at 35 degrees West of North although I cannot figure out how to complete this question properly. Thanks for any input!
Edit: This is what I have done of far and my calculations wind up wrong. It is the question in the page "4."
