help algebra 1b

You showed no work. It's a bit late in the school year to have no clue, don't you think?

Is it this? \(\displaystyle \frac{18}{x-3} = \frac{x}{3}\)

If so, your notation needs some work. Use parentheses to clarify meaning.

If the problem is as tkhunny stated in his post the procedure is to cross multiply and solve the equation:

x*(x-3)=18*3
x^2-3*x-54=0

What type of equation is this and how can you solve it?

Keep trying. Write if further help necessary and please show your work.
