*my problem is that i am not getting how to cancle out the Ys! in most of the other problems you can just multiply a line by a number and then cancle the Ys and solve for X!*

You can multiply the top by 3 and the bottom by -2 and add them to cancel the y's.
You can multiply the top by 6 and the bottom by 5 and add them to cancel the x's.

thanks, i didnt relize i could multiply both lines....
