Today i got homework for pre calculus and i don't understand how to prove the function. the problem is 1+sec(-x)/sin(-x)+tan(-x)=-cscx. Can you help me?

It can't be proven because it is not true.


This is true...
(1+sec(-x))/(sin(-x)+tan(-x))=-cscx.

Strategy:
Often converting to only sin and cos functions will help you see what's needed.
