There are 360 degrees in a full circle (surely you knew that!) so how many full circles are there in 818 degree? Of course "full circles" can be ignored when you are asking "where on the circle the endpoint lies" so how many degrees are left over? There are 360/4= 90 degrees in a quadrant.
