Magnitude

The math question is write the magnitude of each integer. +4, -14, -3. I don't know what "magnitude" means. Is it the number from 0 or is it the (-) or (+), or is the place value. Help please.

It might also be called "Absolute Value". Just how far from zero, not which direction.
