Hey, I need some help with my homework. Right now we are simplifing expressions involving exponents and one of my questions has to do with (a/b)^a/b. I have no idea how to solve it...can anyone help?

Just what are you to do with that expression?
And what sort of numbers are a & b?

In order to solve the equation, you'll need to provide the "equals" sign and whatever is on the other side of it. (All you've posted so far is an expression.) Also, you'll need to specify the variable ("a", "b", or some other) for which you are supposed to solve.

Also, your formatting is ambiguous. Do you mean one of the following?

. . . . .\(\displaystyle \left(\frac{a}{b}\right)^{\frac{a}{b}}\)

. . . . .\(\displaystyle \frac{\left(\frac{a}{b}\right)^a}{b}\)

Or did you mean something else?

Thank you.

Eliz.
