math problem help please

okay i have a math problem that goes 5,12blank times 8 equal a bunch of blank spaces ending with 16. please help

Hi ian. Is there just one blank after 5,12 and then four blanks before 16?

5,12_ x 8 = _ _ _ _16

If so, then my guess is that you're supposed to fill in those five blanks with four digits and a decimal point (comma), to make a true statement.

Example:

7,34_ x 9 = _ _ _ _14

Answer:

7,346 x 9 = 66,114

Oh, it just occurred to me that maybe you're not in a country where they use commas for decimal points.

In that case, my example would still be correct, but we're looking at Whole numbers instead of decimal numbers.
