i am in need of a graph of this that I can paste in a word doc, does anyone know where I can get it.

4x-1=3x+15 original equation

4x-1-3x=15 subtract 3x from both sides

4x-3x=16 add 1 to each side and subtract 3 from 4

x=16

i also need one that shows The graph will show the coordinates to see that x = -4, 1

I'm sorry, but this is a tutoring service, not a custom-order graphics-supply house. :shock:

If Word's "Equation Editor" is not sufficient, and if, for whatever reason, simply typing out a listing of your steps is not sufficient (whyever not??), then please consider hiring someone to create the artwork you seek.

My best wishes to you. :D
