Nerve wracking triangle question

I got a question I am confused with
In triangle ABC Side of the triangle BC is sitting on the line of
Y=5X-13 The edge A is (1,6)
The side of triangle AC is parallel to the line 3y-X-4=0.
The side of triangle AB is parallel to the line y=-2X+10.
Find the Coordinates of the edges B and C.

Excuse if my English writing is not mathematically right it's not my native language.

So far I did this
In order to find B I took
-2X+10=5X-13
Found X=3
But I don't know where to put X=3 now in which equation and why?

You are trying to find the point of intersection. This point has only one x-value and only one y-value. So IF you found the x-value of the point of intersection then you can plug this value into either equation and you'll find the y value. You are correct by trying to solve -2x+10=5x-13 but you got the wrong x-value. I think that you think that 7*3=23 which is not correct. Just solve that equation correctly and move on.

Your English seems fine. However, I'll assume you meant A was at point (1,6) rather than edge (1,6).

(1) We know the line on which the side of triangle AC is on passes through the point (1,6) and is parallel to the line 3y-X-4=0 or
\(\displaystyle y = \frac{1}{3}\, (x+4)\).
So the equation for the line which the side of triangle AC is on is
LAC = \(\displaystyle \frac{1}{3}\, x\, +\, c\).
That is, it has a slope of \(\displaystyle \frac{1}{3}\). Since point (1,6) is on line LAC, you can get the value of c.

(2) We know the line on which the side of triangle AB is on passes through the point (1,6) and is parallel to the line
\(\displaystyle y = -2\, x\, +\, 10\).
So the equation for the line which the side of triangle AB is on is
LAB = \(\displaystyle -2\, x\, +\, d\).
That is, it has a slope of \(\displaystyle -2\). Since point (1,6) is on line LAB, you can get the value of d.

(3) We are given that the line on which the side of triangle BC is on is
y = LBC = 5 x - 13

So, find c and d. Line LAB and line LBC intersect at point B. Line LAC and line LBC intersect at point C.

Can you go from there?

Are you attending math classes with a math teacher? Now that is funny! I have observed many adjuncts who claim to math teachers and personally I wouldn't trust them adding two numbers, even if one of them was 0.
Can someone explain why someone gets a degree in math but does not like the subject and/or have no skills in it? I guess this should be a new thread!
 
I am trying to raise my Gpa score on math and no I have no math teacher only a book ,I do know what is a slope it's just I learned it at a different language rather than English so I wasn't sure until I got example of what is a slope means in English,
