Need Help!

First, I derived L(t) and got:
L'(t) = 20cos(2x)

Then, I believe you equate this to zero and solve for x:
0 = 20cos(2x)

Is this correct?
arccos(0) / 2 = x
π/4 = x

Can you also share your thoughts regarding the question: "When do these values occur?"

Max and mins can occur at the end points of the given intervals. You never stated whether x= pi/4 is a max or min.
Please post back with your updated answer or questions if you have any.

you really don’t need calculus to determine the max L is 100 and the min is 80 ... you should be able to sketch the graph from what you learned in trig.
