Hello,
I have a homework question in which I have to prove that all Orthogonal Projection Matrices can only have singular values that are 1 or 0. I have a good understanding of projections and singular value decomposition, but I can't for the life of me figure out some connection between an orthogonal projection and it's singular values. The furthest I've got is that if the Spectral Norm is 1, then the singular values are *between* 1 and 0, but nothing to mark them as the exclusive values possible. Any help would be very much appreciated!
