What is the perimeter of angle AEB if AD=20 inches DC= 30 inches and AC=34 inches?

Re: HELP

Well, if your three points (vertices) of your triangle are A, E, and B. And you give us the lengths: AD = 20 inches, DC = 30 inches, and AC=34 inches, without a diagram of the triangle, it's hard to figure out the perimeter. Furthermore, it would make more sense if you told us the triangle was ACD, or ADC, in which case the lengths you supplied us with would be more pertinent to the vertices you gave us. See?

If the triangle was ADC or ACD, you would just add up the lengths (of the three sides) which you already know and their sum would be the perimeter of the triangle.

There is nothing called perimeter of angle.

Perhaps you meant - triangle.

Do you really have AEB - or is it ADC?

What is the definition of perimeter?

How is that expressed for a triangle?

How do the various points, A, B, C, D, and E, relate to one another, and/or to the angle?

Please be complete, keeping in mind that we can't see what you're looking at (including pictures of triangles, etc). Thank you! :D
