polar graphing

So I started with the angles:

theta... r
0... 0
pi/12... pi/6
pi/6... pi/3
pi/4... pi/2
pi/3... 2pi/3
-... -
pi/2... pi

but when I started to plot those points it looks nothing like graph in the answer section of my text. What am I doing wrong to get the points...

I am so lost here... please help
