Polynom of 6th grade

Hi everyone,

I am doing some maths out of interest so I don't have any higher education in it.

I was wondering if there is any method to calculate the roots of the following function

-9x⁶ + 3x⁵ + 66x⁴ + 99x³ + 60x² + 15x + 9

Ah! When you say "polynom of 6th grade", you mean what I would call "6th degree polynomial".

There are techniques that will sometimes work to get an exact answer, but in general you need approximate numerical methods, such as those used by graphing calculators and various programs. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Root-finding_algorithm

I found the Newton Method which worked in finding the approximate root.

Is there any way to check if it's possible to find an exact solution?
