A piece of rope is suspended from a rooms roof and touches the ground 145 cms from one of it's corners. The rope is suspended again and is pulled towards the same corner. This time it touches the wall 29 cms from the floor. What is the length of the rope ?
I drew 2 diagrams to represent the 2 scenarios. Obviously pythagoras is used, the answer is 377 cms. Could it be solved another way ? Thanks.

I do not see any other way.
