Suppose you knew the value of k. How would you find the intersection of the line and the plane?

When you solve that, you will find it in terms of the parameter k. You should be able to see some value(s) of k for which the solution does not exist.

Please show whatever work you have done, so we can see where you need to be corrected or encouraged to continue.
