A race track is 400m along the straightaway and has a semicircle of a diameter of 100m at each end. Two horses travel the track. The first goes along the railing and covers a distance equal to the length of the track as marked off. The second horse is 20m out from the railing at all times. what is the difference in distance covered by the two horses in one circuit of the track?

The second horse will run longer length in the semicircular part of the track.
