Removing absolute value bars in solution to 1st order separable differential equation

Hi. The attachment shows a differential equation and its solution. Looking at the 2nd-to-last line, after raising e to the power of each side, we'd end up with |y| = |C(2+x)^3|. Can anyone explain why the absolute value bars are removed in the last line shown?
