I am just not sure if I am doing this right. What is the annual interest on $3,225.00 at 0.03% simple interest?
Please show us what you have been doing (with numbers). Then only we can help you find the correct answer.I am just not sure if I am doing this right. What is the annual interest on $3,225.00 at 0.03% simple interest?
What equation did you use to calculate this number? No, I think I just figured it out. It would be .97 cents per year right?
I am sure you did not get:I multiplied 0.03 x 3,225
Hint:I obviously have a problem with the decimal point.
Where are you seeing extra zeroes ?Ok that works! I am not sure why you add the extra zeros but it does work. Thanks so much
.03% is not .03. % means divide by 100 or /100. So 0.03% = 0.03/100 = .0003. Just multiply $3225*.0003 = $.9675 which is NOT ~.97centsI am just not sure if I am doing this right. What is the annual interest on $3,225.00 at 0.03% simple interest?
. . . at 0.03% simple interest?
