A={sin1, sin2, sin3, sin4}. We have:

a) max A=sin1, min A= sin3;
b) max A=sin4, min A= sin1;
c) max A=sin2, min A= sin4;

How can i solve this exercice and what is the correct answer ? Thank you !

For \(\displaystyle 0\le x<2\pi\), where does the sine function have its maximum and minimum?

On \(\displaystyle \frac{\pi }{2} \) the value is 1 [ Maximum ]
On \(\displaystyle \frac{3\pi }{2} \) the value is -1 [ Minimun ]

But what is sin1,2,3,4 ? I don't understand. Thanks you very much for your response.

Okay, good, that's correct. Now which of \(\displaystyle x\in\{1,2,3,4\}\) is closest to \(\displaystyle \dfrac{\pi}{2}\)?
