Solve the triangle [Math Analysis]

okay so I understand how to do the problem, like the formulas, and I understood the example my teacher gave us, but I got stuck when I did a homework problem myself. Can anyone tell me where I went wrong?

5/29.7 does not equal 5.94

Yea, I just realized my fault there, I forgot about the sine part. 5/sin29.7 = 10.09 then I did 8/10.09 and got .792864222 the sin-1(. 792864222) and got 52.5 [right answer].
but NOW I'm having trouble finding A =\
I did 10/sinA = 10.09 but when I did 10/10.09 and got .9910802775, and did the inverse I got 82.34162468, when it's suppose to be 97.9

When you use the Law of Sines, your calculator will give you an answer less than 90 degrees. You have two alternative approaches however: use the Law of Cosines again (to find A) or simply add the two angles you already found and subtract that from 180 degrees.

Omg I'm such an idiot since I didn't think of just simply adding 29.7 & 52.5 and subtracting them from 180!!! Thank you soooo much!!!
